Ed Swikart joined CFS Investment Advisory Services as Director of Financial Planning in January 2019. Prior to that, he was a solicitor for the Firm for over 20 years. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Ed started in the financial services industry in August 1980 as a registered representative and has been advising clients and their families for over 40 years. He became a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner in 1991.
Ed also completed coursework from Penn’s Graduate School of Education. For 16 years he taught the Estate Planning Module of the CFP® curriculum for Fairleigh Dickenson University. Ed’s practice allows him to combine a love of teaching with helping clients and their families with their long-term planning and investment strategies. In New Jersey, clients can meet with Ed in both the Totowa and Holmdel locations.
Ed grew up and resides in Monmouth county and loves living “down the shore.” Passions include golf, sailing, tennis, skiing and singing in his church choir.
